Why IntiNova Consulting Tells These Stories
One of the most persistent myths among small businesses is that consulting is only for large corporations: companies with deep pockets, internal strategy teams, and time to spare.
In reality, it’s the opposite.
Small business owners, startup founders, and creative entrepreneurs are often the ones navigating the most complex decisions — whilst having the fewest resources and lowest margin for error. They are the ones who need strategic support the most; and yet, the ones least likely to believe it’s available to them.
At IntiNova Consulting, I write these case studies to make the value of consulting visible and real — not in the abstract, but through the actual journeys of founders and business owners who took a step toward getting support.
Wavyrn’s story is one of those. Ananta came to SheCreates Innovation as a brand-new founder trying to bridge the gap between her education and her day-to-day reality. What she built from there is a testament to what becomes possible when knowledge meets the right support system.
Knowledge should not be gatekept. Strategy should not be out of reach. That is IntiNova’s mission — and these stories are the proof.
About the Business
Meet Wavyrn
Wavyrn is a full-service audio production studio offering music composition, sound design, voiceover casting, recording, and implementation for TV shows, films, video games, podcasts, live spaces, and sonic branding. Founded in 2024, the team is primarily made up of Berklee-trained composers and sound designers who built their careers in film and game scoring.
Their core proposition is simple: clients should not have to piece together a dozen vendors to produce great audio. Wavyrn does it all — from first note to final delivery.
Wavyrn is proudly queer-owned and minority-owned. They bring a deeply collaborative, community-forward approach to every project — from big-budget productions to award-winning student thesis films.

The Starting Point
A Brand-New Business, Finding Its Footing
When Ananta attended IntiNova Consulting’s SheCreates Innovation Workshop in October 2024, Wavyrn was just a few months old. The team had the talent — the years of collaborative experience, Berklee education, and a strong network of fellow creators — yet translating creative expertise into a real business strategy was a different challenge entirely.
Ananta, who holds an MBA from Suffolk University, had the academic background. But making these frameworks practical — and communicating them to co-founders and team members without formal business training — was something she was still working out.
She wasn’t alone in that. It’s one of the most common gaps IntiNova sees in early-stage founders: not a lack of intelligence or drive, but a gap between what they know in theory and what they can actually implement in the day-to-day.
The IntiNova Impact
SheCreates Innovation: Turning Knowledge Into Action
The SheCreates Innovation Workshop is designed for exactly this kind of moment: when a founder has the vision but needs a bridge between theory and execution.
For Ananta, the workshop delivered on two fronts: it helped her translate MBA-level business concepts into practical day-to-day applications, and it gave her a new language to help bring her team along on the journey.
Growth Since the Workshop
Two Years In: A Business That Found Its Range
In less than two years, Wavyrn has delivered audio production for over 30 short films, multiple video games, podcasts, live spaces, theme parks, and sonic branding projects. What surprised the team most was how much range their skill set actually had.
The same expertise that powers a video game score can build a podcast theme song, an immersive theme park soundscape, or a brand’s entire sonic identity. Once they knew how to position that, the opportunities multiplied.
Global Reach
From Boston to Tokyo Game Show
Wavyrn’s international work has grown the way most great things do — organically. Years of studying alongside international students at Berklee and Suffolk gave the team a natural fluency for cross-cultural collaboration long before the company was founded. Now, when global opportunities come up, they don’t hesitate.
In 2024, Wavyrn attended Tokyo Game Show for the first time — connecting with up-and-coming game developers from Japan’s thriving indie scene. They’re planning to return this year. European clients are also in the pipeline.
Japan
Relationship-driven and close-knit. It’s not just about having a great portfolio — it’s about who you know and how you show up over time. Wavyrn learned that early.
Europe
Open and collaborative, with a pragmatic attitude toward using AI as a prototyping tool alongside human talent — a balance Wavyrn can work with.
Globally
Cultural fluency isn’t optional. Every country and culture has a different attitude toward intellectual property, the creative process, and communication styles. Being adaptable and transparent is what makes the work possible.
What’s next
Bigger Games, More Stages, More Impact
Today, Wavyrn is entering their most exciting phase yet. Multiple student thesis projects are wrapping up this spring and releasing throughout the summer — several with strong awards potential. The next thesis season already has projects lined up.
The team is actively pursuing AA game studio partnerships and larger-scale productions, while continuing to expand their conference presence both domestically and internationally.
